Guest Terms

Last updated: 2026-09-09

These Guest Terms are a plain-language summary of what applies specifically to you as a Guest at a JomSnap event. They don’t replace or override our full Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Safety Standards — those remain the legally binding terms — but they’re written to be read in under a minute before you join.

Your rights as a Guest

  • You keep full ownership and copyright of every photo and message you submit — joining an event never transfers that to JomSnap or the event’s host.
  • Your own approved photos and messages are always visible to you in “My Roll” and the Guest Book, whether or not the host has revealed the event gallery yet.
  • You can rotate, crop, or delete your own content yourself in most cases, or ask the host to do it for you.
  • You can report another guest’s photo or message if it concerns you — this never removes it automatically, it flags it for the host to review.
  • If a host suspends or blocks your access, your existing content isn’t deleted just because of that, unless the host separately chooses to remove it.

Your responsibilities as a Guest

  • Don’t submit anything illegal, sexually explicit, hateful, or harassing — see our Safety Standards for the full list of prohibited content.
  • Respect the people around you: only photograph guests who are visibly part of the event, and be mindful of anyone who’d rather not be photographed.
  • Don’t try to work around the host’s moderation settings, impersonate someone else, or use someone else’s device or identity without their knowledge.
  • If the event has location verification switched on, capturing a photo may record how far it was taken from the venue — never your exact coordinates. See our Privacy Policy.

How your content is used

Content you submit may be shown in the event’s live gallery, on a paired TV display, and — once the host reveals or exports it — kept by the host as a personal keepsake (an album, a highlight video, their own social media). The host can never sell it, use it in advertising, or otherwise exploit it commercially without separate consent from everyone identifiable in it (full detail in Terms §7).

The host — and, where they’ve switched it on, JomSnap’s AI-assisted moderation — decides what gets approved, rejected, hidden, or deleted from their own event. That’s their call to make, not something JomSnap interferes with case by case.

Leaving or losing access

You can leave an event at any time from the guest menu — it only signs this device out, it doesn’t delete anything, and returning finds your same photos and messages again. A host can also suspend or block a disruptive guest’s access without deleting what they’ve already submitted, unless they separately choose to.

The full legal terms

These Guest Terms are a summary, not a substitute. By joining an event, you’re agreeing to JomSnap’s full Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Safety Standards in their entirety.
